Every preschooler deserves the chance to discover the joy of a great book.

With Meeshy Mac’s Sponsor a Story initiative, you can purchase a copy of Pretend You’re a Puppy! by Meeshy Mac, illustrated by Riley Helal, to be donated to a preschool-aged child in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Your sponsored book will be distributed through local preschools, early childhood programs, libraries, and organizations serving young children—helping put a fun, interactive story into the hands of a child who may not otherwise have access to one.

And this isn't just a book to read—it's a book to play!

Little readers are invited to bark, shake a paw, dig, wiggle, and use their imaginations as they pretend to be a puppy. Along the way, they're building confidence, creativity, and connection with the grown-ups who play alongside them.
